Special re-mastered album edition of Red Tuesday, originally released April 2018.
lyrics
Can you feel just how the wind breaks?
Through all the rubble, through all that remains?
Well all things, they pass, still exactly the same,
Time circles, time’s flat, bronzed horses in swathes.
The leaves fall, on the banks where I lay,
To be lost, in a face, resting numb on cold slate,
Will we ever get out? Will we ever leave this place?
I hear hooves over hills, echoes cut through the straight.
These clouds of unknowing can shroud all that appears,
To be connected by lines, on these maps we hold dear,
And I know, that these mokes, will soon buckle and bray,
But their labour builds love, time’s burden will stay.
Well, everybody’s trying to find or see,
That there’s just somewhere else to be,
And when things really quite aren’t what they seem.
One can always just swim upstream.
